About Vocix

Who we are

Vocix is an independent software project created and operated by Avinash in India. It is a free browser-based audio, video, and image editor for everyday media tasks without a heavy desktop suite.

The product is offered on the web, with companion apps for Windows and Android. Vocix is not affiliated with Google, Adobe, or CapCut.

What Vocix does

You upload media and describe edits in natural language — trim a video, merge clips, convert images, transcribe speech, or generate text-to-speech. Most standard edits run locally in the browser with FFmpeg. AI features use cloud providers with daily free quotas.

The site also publishes original guides and a blog so visitors can learn how local edits differ from cloud AI before they create an account.

How the free site is funded

Core editing stays free with an account. Google AdSense may appear on public content pages such as guides, blog posts, FAQ, About, Contact, Privacy, and Terms. Ads are not placed on the signed-in editor, history, or login screens.

Editorial standards

Guides and blog posts are written by the Vocix publisher. We do not scrape third-party articles. If a guide is outdated, use the contact page and we will correct it. Last content review: October 2026.
